The sun is shining today and I noticed a couple plants, outside on my deck, are sprouting. A flock of ducks are eating something on the patch of lawn out back that doesn't have any snow. I even varnished four paintings outside. Hmmm... maybe we should start the barbecue.
I hope it's spring-like where you are too. Here's another my practice drawings from Your Artist Brain by Carl Purcell:
I really like this drawing. Spring has sprung here too but only until Weds. night when we are due to get 4 snow storms in a row. Sigh..I am not too fond of Feb. I like Carl Purcell. I have some articles by him. He taught in S. Utah for years and is considered a state treasure!!!
ReplyDeleteTrès joli dessin avec un beau mouvement.
ReplyDeleteBises
Yes spring is in the air. The willows are starting to bloom and the snowdrops are out and there is a feel of growth in the air.
ReplyDeleteYou continue to inspire and amaze, Bonnie. Quite a shift from drawing an egg to drawing the human form. You did this beautifully!
