Don't you love it when things go well and you accomplish everything you planned? It's been one of those weeks for me. I finished my Pansy, faded the background in my big Black-eyed Susan painting, started a batch of peach wine and cleaned the chandelier lights in the hallway. I even went canoeing and hope to go again in November...just to say I did. :)
Here's the latest pansy. As usual it is 6"x6"x1.5" on gallery wrapped canvas. It will be included in the juried, "Under 100" show that I, happily, was accepted into.
J'ai pensé à vous ce matin en roulant... Je passais devant un parterre de fleurs qui venait d'être planté... C'était des pensées.
ReplyDeleteTrès joli travail. Bravo!
Gros bisous
it's beautiful! love the colors!
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty, Bonnie. This piece is set off beautifully by that textured wall too. Something interesting about the play of texture against the softness implied by flowers...If that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteOoh, love the pansy, love the way you've done the gallery wrap. Can't wait to see it in "real life".
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to chat about peach wine, too- recipe, technique... Mine's sitting in the kitchen corner; not sure how it'll turn out.
That pansy made me smile and oh how I wish I had your energy right now.
ReplyDeleteHello, Bonnie Heather.
ReplyDeleteThe graceful sense wraps your artworks.
It's excellent and lovely...
The season of colored leaves, heartwarming atmosphere.
The traditional celebration, kimono infants.
The prayer for all peace.
Greetings.

ReplyDeleteYour pansies look like the real thing. And I think your knife painting a few posts previous is beautiful. I love deep earthy tones...of course you wouldn't know it if you saw my art...it always goes in a bright direction.
ReplyDeleteYour art is very lovely.
Mmmm peach wine, candle lit dinners with peach wine.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm wine glasses are fun to paint!
Mmmm... what will Bonnie paint next?
Hmmmm....
the pansies are really lovely. I am part of a co-operative gallery, and everyone is making furiously for christmas. They would make good small presents, I am still stuck what to paint for the shop, at the moment its boats.
ReplyDeleteits difficult for us artists,as we can paint snow scenes till they comeout of your ears, but they wont be hung all year round!.As you say they remind us of the spring. lovely. keep up the work. http://moiraladd.blogspot.com
