The picture below is basically finished. I played around with the palette knife on the trees. A bit messy but fun to do. I'll sign it when it's dryer and probably add a dab or two of paint as I watch it dry. I'm hoping to paint it larger but I'm a little nervous it won't turn out. Just because I painted it once doesn't mean I can do it again.

Have a great week everyone.
I know JUST what that's like, getting swallowed up in the blogsphere! This is such a pretty piece - it's so inviting! Good for you. And be diligent about allowing yourself daily tine to paint!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Bonnie, I thought this was a photograph! Like the one you showed us earlier of the ... of this! the gazebo in your town! Very nice! Paint it again!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love how you made the soft glow of the lights in the darkness. Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful little painting. It will be a beautiful big painting too.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I think this is stunning. What an amazing job you did on the lights too!! This is a favorite!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, Bonnie. Wonderful glow! I know what you mean about being afraid to try it again because it can never come out the same. Hmmmm, I think that's why someone invented prints! I can only hope to be good enough one day to be able to sell prints of my work never mind the original painting.
ReplyDeleteWow! This looks so romantic!
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much everyone! Do you ever help build up my confidence. Today is a great day thanks to you.
